Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

My last post not being since september, I figured it was time to re-up and catch up. Though i was trying to focus on me and my career at the beginning I actually took the last six months, and focused my energy on my crew Sounds of Baltimore Djs (www.sobdjs.com). There were some up and downs, but when the dust settled, I can honestly say that my time and effort put into this venture was well worth it. We now officially have a weekly party at The Get Down in Baltimore MD. This Party’s soul focus is on the music since it was created and put on every week by Djs. I enjoy the ability i have to put on Up and Coming Djs, and how the group of people i work with are just very supportive of what we are trying to do…  Check out the Flyer!!

So now that my crew is up and running smoothly again..I can turn a little more attention towards my personal goals and career. Me Residencies in the city are still in tact and as i continue to develop a name for myself. My opportunities outside of the city have increased. But enough about me. Just gonna give you a quick rundown of what to expect in the next couple of months.

- I am releasing an EP of all original tracks by the end of january

- My first official mixtape will be done in Mid- Februay

-Working on a collaboration with a few of my crew mate on a series of remixes due out mid summer

For the Past few months, my crew Sounds of Baltimore Djs have been in the the works with a Mini Documentary about baltimore DJ culture. These were just some test shots we did. Big Shout out to my boy DJ B and his video editing prowess.. made these short Trailers… Enjoy!

Since this is my first post, I figured I would give you guys a glimpse at some of the things I have done in the past few months..  the Pictures speak for themselves (sorta). The first two are from a club called “The Get Down” located in baltimore. I was opening for DJ White Shadow for those that don’t know him, he is currently Lady Gaga’s Dj and Produced her last album… Kind of a dope experience i must admit. He was mad humble as well. The last 2 are from a tag-team club set i do once and a while with my crew mate DJ Sal Flip at Mist nightclub in Baltimore. Let’s just say that these photos hardly do that night justice….
